Sisters do as sisters should, we’re all together sisters…

I think that out of all the things we did this past weekend to celebrate Allie’s graduation, laughing pretty much non-stop was my favorite. Of the over 500 pictures that Jason and I took this weekend, a good half to three-fourths of them captured laughter. Which means we did a pretty good job of capturing what our family is about.

And how convenient that over at “i heart faces” the theme for this week’s contest is laughter. Oh, I think I could find an entry or two hundred. This one, possibly my favorite one, will suffice for now…

This is pretty much what we do every time we’re together. Generally it only take about thirty seconds before we’re both hysterical with glee. I love it.

Make sure you head on over and check out the rest of the entries at the “i heart faces” site. Guest judge this week is The Pioneer Women, herself. Be still my beating heart…

And yet another post about the irresistible freckles.

So my friend, Becca, has been regularly participating in a weekly photo posting/contest.

I’ve been really impressed with the photos she’s chosen and intrigued at how this could challenge me, as it has her, to pay more attention to my photography skills. And every week, lots of folks take on the challenge of posting faces in their lives right here on www.iheartfaces.com.

When I saw that one of this week’s categories was pets…well, you just know I’m not going to pass up the chance to post another picture of the only thing that has saved Knox from being banished to the outdoors forever- that ridiculously cute freckle-faced face.

It’s the one that looks up at me longingly when he wants to go outside. It’s the one that mopes at me from across the room when he’s been banished to his chair or bed for doing something naughty. It’s the one that looks up at me and grins (I swear he does!) after a proper run or game of fetch. Or this one, taken mid-hike on a gorgeous Tennessee fall day…

No, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of taking pictures of this sweet face.
