Collages and Kittens

I love being an aunt. Love it. Scout and Will are so much fun and I was thrilled that I got to have some one on one time with them yesterday. We played at our house while Jason, Brian and Bill (Brian's dad) chopped mesquite wood at Memom's. You know me, fun times with the kids over hard labor any day of the week!

I've discovered that the best thing to do when Scout and Will are here is just to throw all the options out there and see what floats to the top. First it was the GIANT Search & Find pad, then Will moved on to his own special version of Dominoes while Scout and I created a collage. She masterminded the whole thing: our names first and then any pictures we found beautiful and then a scenic crayon landscape. She let me keep the end result and you better believe it's being framed and hung!

We headed out to Memom's to check on the guys and played with the new kittens. So cute! I had the option of keeping the one I'm holding as a birthday present, but Jason is Very Allergic and I love him too much to do that to him. A very fun day with the kiddos...

YOU know I am all over that collage thing honey! I remember this really artsy lady who lived in our neighborhood and we used to go hound her and her favorite thing to do was give us a stack of magazines (usually True Romance {and honey THOSE pics!} and cut and glue away. BLISS! You're a good aunt.
