Ode to My Bridesmaid Dress

My sister found your brilliant color,
at which I gazed in silent horror.

I took the measurements for the fit,
and hoped at the wedding we'd all be lit.

Mom picked your style for it's flowing grace,
and I plan to leave the reception in haste.

Lu will probably kill me for this ode,
but I hope she sees it's just a joke.

I can't wait to wear you on her day,
but steal the show in you, I just may.

Don't underestimate my hot bod,
for cameras will flash to make a montage.

Men will swoon and women will swear,
I'll be the cutest bridesmaid ever and anywhere!
