Things to celebrate on a Saturday evening

~ A University of Tennesse victory. And the fact that our dog didn't die when he attempted to eat a shard of glass that fell from the broken light shade on our fan that Jason broke with his plastic bat from his excitement/frustration over UT giving up a 21 point lead.

~ My husband running a mysterious errand at 11 pm that has something to do with my 30th birthday tomorrow.

~ A new haircut for a new decade.

Oh. My. Goodness. Welcome to the 30s my dear, or, as I like to refer to them, "The Ten Years of Awesome." Your haircut is awesome. Thusly, I think you might just rule this decade.

  2. I ADORE the new 'do! So chic! So very now, dahling! Congrats on running and FINISHING (my God) the marathon!! 26.2 miles would be instantaneous myocardial infarction for me. Like, 0.2 miles even. I don't run unless I'm being chased, so go you! Also, HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY! It's hard to sing over the Internet, so mentally picture me singing happy birthday a la Marilyn Monroe and Happy Birthday Mr. President, my personal favorite rendition.
