I was interviewed on the radio today. I'm practically a local celebrity! Ok, so I exaggerate a bit. I worked the Cancer Center booth at a health fair and was placed right beside the radio station's table. The DJ is a fellow marathoner (I can say that now!) and a smoker (I know, ironic, right?) so I pushed the tobacco awareness pretty hard. He was actually interested and promptly handed me the mic as they came back from a commercial. I had to think pretty quick on my feet but I think I did the Cancer Center justice.
I was on the news a couple of weeks ago as well. The Boss and I went to a breast cancer awareness event down at the county courthouse to represent the CC. It was a fairly small crowd and I made it into a lingering crowd shot. I'm listening intently and then laughing at something. Building up my celebrity one day at a time...
What I want to know is...do you wear your boa for even the radio interviews? Bright pink, I believe, is your custom. That will clue us in to your true status or personal perception of personal status..as the Boa, dear girlfriend, is the trend setter, the status image, the flowing reminder of place and personage....keep it close at hand for every such chance and random opportunity.
