Scene: The Paramount Theatre, watching a wonderful classic...

Esther (Judy Garland) to her sister: "Rose, I've decided something."

Rose: "Hmm?"

Esther: "I'm going to let John Truitt kiss me tonight." (Note: Esther has actually yet to officially meet John Truitt.)

Rose: "Esther Smith!"

Esther: "If we're getting married, I might as well start it."

Rose: "Nice girls don't kiss men until after they're engaged."

Girl two seats down from me: "Oops."
