Well.

That's that.

My Uncle Todd would probably say that the guys just didn't want it enough, didn't play as well. And, unfortunately, he'd be right. We looked tenative and unsure. Especially Tyler. What was that? We couldn't hit shots, threes, free throws. And Duke just kept getting through. Tonight (and it KILLS me to say this) they were the better team.

I suppose the only thing that could be sweeter than beating Duke at home will be beating them at their court. I'll count the days until then.

This is Leslie, Tarheel born and Tarheel bred, signing off.

  1. Sorry I missed out on responding to your posts earlier (maybe that's a good thing??). I have a ticket to the game at Cameron so you can always give me trash if you guys win. For now I'm going to enjoy the thrill of victory...

Oh Lordy. I just read through your recap and it is HILARIOUS. Although I'm sorry UNC lost, I'm not sorry Duke won. (See what split loyalties do to a girl?) I think Tyler must have been worried about his nose. :)

Payback will be sweet. Oh yeah. Our whole house was stunned last night but we'll be back.
