MG asked the question the other day, "I am just waiting for the big Vols-Heels head-to-head in the East. What will y'all do?"
Sadly, we will not get to experience this momentous event.
Tennessee lost to Lousiville tonight. It was awful. I'm pretty sure that there was some bad officiating. But it was just so sad.
And it was made even worse by the fact that here, in Abilene, CBS didn't show the entire game. As has been their pattern thus far, once there was a decided lead, they switched over to the KY/UCLA game. They did the same with my Heels.
Which means that, so far, I have gotten to watch a mere 21 minutes of UNC basketball in this entire freakin' tournament. That is TWENTY ONE MINUTES out of a total of three games/160 minutes. In our household there is some serious hatred for CBS and their monopoly over the entire NCAA tournament. But that's another post.
I am happy about my Heels. It is just overshadowed at the moment by my sweet husband's grief. We are keenly feeling the loss this evening...
I am sad about this, too. Please give my condolences to Jason. Sniff, sniff. (Although my bracket did have Carolina beating them in the next round.)
