I’m going to have to disagree with Dolly on this one…

It turns out that workin’ 9 to 5 is a way to make a livin’. And I’d like to get in on that action.

Substitute teaching jobs have a.) not been as plentiful as I would have liked and b.) will be no more after May 27th. Therefore, I need another job.

I am still hoping to procure a fulltime teaching position for the next school year at one of the many private Christian schools in Chattanooga and am earnestly working on those applications this week. However, even if something opens up and I manage to land a teaching job, that still leaves the time from now until August in which I have to be working.

Seriously, I do everything better when I’m working. Time management, eating better, exercise, friendships, relationship with the hubs…all areas of my life benefit from me being gainfully employed.

So far I have applied for every medical receptionist/administrative assistant position I can find. I’m not going to lie, it would be a dream come true to once again wear scrubs every single day. I have also applied to be: a Barnes & Noble bookseller, a Bath & Body Works scent specialist, a P.F. Chang’s hostess and have begun to spread the word that I’m the babysitter you’ve always wanted to watch your kids.

If you’re the praying type, would you please pray that someone hires me soon? Thanks…

  2. I will definitely be praying! I totally understand - I think the more time I have, the more time I waste. For serious.

I hope you find a fantastic dream job super-soon! :-)

Have you tried www.sittercity.com? I'm not sure if people there use it, but it is like match.com for families and sitters. ;-)
